Notice of Joint Work Session with SJWCD and PAWSD, May 8

San Juan Water Conservancy District (SJWCD) has scheduled a public Work Session for 10 am to noon on Wednesday, May 8, at 46 Eaton Drive Suite 5. The Running Iron Ranch subcommittees of both Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District (PAWSD) and SJWCD will discuss issues related to their joint ownership of the property. A Work Session offers no Zoom option and no opportunity for public comment. No decisions will be made.

The Directors of San Juan Water Conservancy District have scheduled a Special Meeting at 4 pm on Wednesday, May 8. The Special Meeting is at 46 Eaton Drive Suite 5. The purpose of the Special Meeting is for Strategic Objective One committee members to consider advancing projects, including the Headwaters Reservoir, on the Running Iron Ranch. An Executive Session may be called to receive legal counsel. This is the only agenda item. The only anticipated action is to call an Executive Session to receive advice from legal counsel.

Notice of Work Session, March 26

Directors of San Juan Water Conservancy District will hold a Work Session at 4 pm on Tuesday, March 26, at 46 Eaton Drive Suite 5. The purpose of the public, in person, Work Session is to research and plan next steps in filming of three water films. Christi Bode of Moxiecran Media will meet with directors. There is no agenda and no opportunity for public comment.

2024 Climate Change Report by Colorado State University

San Juan Water Conservancy District follows relevant scientific studies and considers seriously data-driven reports, especially those generated in Colorado. SJWCD Directors use fact-based information to plan for the future of water in the Upper San Juan River drainage and Archuleta County.
