Objective 3: Educate the SJWCD community about the water resources of the Upper San Juan River Basin and related issues, including the SJRHP, water resource planning, water conservation, and the work of the SJWCD.

Notice of Work Session, Committee for Strategic Objective Two, May 31, 2023

San Juan Water Conservancy District’s Committee for Strategic Objective Two has scheduled a work session for Wednesday May 31 at 3 pm. The in-person meeting is at 46 Eaton Drive Suite 5 and there will be no Zoom option. A work session is open to the public, but not a meeting. It is for purposes of discussion of research. There is no agenda, packet, or opportunity for public comment. No decisions will be made.

Notice of SJWCD Directors at PAWSD Meeting

San Juan Water Conservancy District Directors will attend the regularly scheduled Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District (PAWSD) meeting at 100 Lyn Avenue at 5 pm. The purpose of SJWCD attendance is to see a presentation of water data by Pagosa Springs High School students.  No decisions will be considered.

An educational field trip is scheduled for Saturday morning, April 29, at 8 am. The public is invited to join SJWCD Directors to tour the Running Iron Ranch property with San Juan River access. The address is 7101 East Highway 160.
